[sepc] P52 Dumpster Project this Saturday (Feb 13)

If anyone would be interested, there is a P52 project this coming Saturday
in the Flintstone area.

The project involves picking up junk and throwing it in a Dumpster until the
Dumpster is full.


On Saturday, February 13

About the Dumpster Projects:

 

Many people who have been visited by code enforcement officers are poor,
elderly, or disabled. Their money is spent on rent, mortgages, electricity,
water, and food. They have no resources left to comply with property codes,
or pay the applicable fines.  In response to this need, Project 52 has
partnered with city and county officials to help bring properties up to
code. When enforcement officers have cases involving the poor, elderly, or
disabled, they notify Project 52, and we assist in the clean up process.
This includes:
      1. Renting 30-yard dumpsters.
      2. Filling the dumpsters, and properly disposing of their contents.
      3. Developing relationships with clients in need.

 

 

Since a lot of us live in the Flintstone area, I thought I would see if
anyone would be interested in coming to help out for a while on Saturday
morning.
