Dear SEPC family,

Thanks for all your support and prayers! It has continued to be a strange season here.

COVID in Switzerland
For the past months, Switzerland has limited indoor gatherings to 5 people, and has closed all non essential stores. Thankfully, with our numbers of new cases and hospitalizations down, they will ease some of these measures on March 1st, but the limit for indoor gatherings won't change yet. Vaccine deliveries have been slower than expected, like pretty much everywhere it seems.

COVID and L'Abri work
All this of course has affected our work, as we have received very few reservations, and mostly for people who have come for the weekend. It has been a great opportunity to spend one-on-one time with people though! I have been reminded that one important idea-in-practice that the Schaeffers brought to L'Abri is the belief that with God, there are "no little people". We see all our students as answers to prayer, whether there is one or 25 of them. Having one or two students at a time has been special in its own way, allowing for extended conversations and quality time together, and also allowing for us to adapt our schedule, lecture topics etc to their specific questions and needs.
It looks like we will now have one or two long term students until the end of term (April 5th), which we are all excited about.

Praise with us:
- L'Abri's doors have been able to stay open!
- Our bills have been covered!
- Aaron's French has been progressing quickly, and he has been taking online classes at a nearby theology school.
- Katrina's grandparents are vaccinated! This has been a relief as we have been helping out with the care giving.

To pray for:
- Workers who are transitioning away from L'Abri (the Lind family and Marnie), and also for those who are thinking of (or not yet thinking of) transitioning into L'Abri work. Come April, we will be very short staffed, with only one other couple working with us.
- For travel restrictions to ease
- Continued financial provision
- For the right students to come at the right time
- Students who couldn't come: many people need a place like L'Abri more than ever, but haven't been able to make it. Pray that they would be able to find community nearby, and that we would be able to support those who couldn't come here.

Thanks again for all your support!

Miss you guys!

Katrina and Aaron Fortune
