Dear church family,

This is an update from the pastoral search committee (myself, Hans, Jessica
Novikoff, Rebecca Dodson, Ed Sunder, Rob Tinholt, and Jack Beckman).

We give thanks to the Lord that we’ve finished the first phase of the
search, completing our church profile–a 16 page document that introduces
our church, our history, and what we’re about. You can read the church

(which includes the pastor profile on pp.13-14).

Our consultant, Charles McGowan, is already distributing this information
to Reformed seminaries, presbyteries, and other networks. This is now the
pastor nomination phase. We already have six candidates but many more names
will be coming in over the next 2–3 weeks. Things are going to be intense
for the committee. We’ll be looking over applications, listening to
sermons, and evaluating candidates to discern whom God has chosen to be our
next pastor.

Most importantly, we invite the congregation to join our work as we solicit
names of potential candidates for the senior pastor position. If you know
anyone in the PCA who would be a good fit, would you please submit the name
via this short Google form

The committee used to meet on Sunday evenings, but over the summer we have
been meeting every Wednesday evening. Please continue to keep us and our
